AlterWork Studios is a multi-disciplinary communal art studio in the heart of Astoria, NY. The studio provides working space to independent artists working in a variety of mediums along with offering classes open to the public. The studio's mission is to be a major resource for contemporary artists, helping them create new work and advance their careers by offering them access to affordable workspace, tools, classes, workshops and public exposure.
In conjunction with being the studio manager, the designs and marketing materials below were created to accompany studio events, exhibitions, classes, and outreach.
The designs draw inspiration from the constructivist art movement from the early 1900's and feature the studio's signature yellow and paint splat.
